Stephen J. Risner age 42 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born March 26, 1979 in Paintsville, Kentucky to A.J. (Gwen) Risner and Kathy Patrick (Ollie) Bailey.
Survived by his parents, two sisters, Amber (Jeff) Clinkner of Lansing, Michigan, Tiffany (Josh) Cole of Salyersville, Kentucky, nephews, Chase and Gage, one niece Kendall Brooke, paternal grandparent, Linda Hannah, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Melvin and Marie “Bill” Risner, and Howard Hannah and maternal grandparents, Dave and Wilma Patrick and Ollie and Wonnie Bailey.
Stephen J. was a member of the Lakefront Church God and was baptized in 2007.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from the Lakefront Church of God with Larry Patrick officiating. Burial followed in the Patrick and Dyer Cemetery at Cow Creek, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested contributions in honor of Stephen J. Risner, made to the Water to Wine Food Pantry, 508 Middle Fork Suite- B, Salyersville, Kentucky, 41465.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
