Thomas Eddie Kinney, age 80, a resident of Elam Street in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 14, 2026, at ARH Paintsville in Paintsville, Kentucky after a lengthy illness.
Born November 30, 1945 in Pikeville, Kentucky the son of the late Beule and Pebbles Kinney. Daughter, Pebble Marie Kinney, sons, Ronnie Kinney, Rodney Humphry, brothers, Don Kinney, Aurth Kinney, sisters, Patsy Gillespie, Irene Robinson, Margaret Mitchell also preceded in death.
Thomas was employed as a miner until his retirement. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and with family and friends.
Those left to mourn include wife, Gracie Collins Humphrey Kinney of Salyersville, Kentucky, sons, David Kinney of Pikeville, Kentucky, John Humphrey Jr. of Clay City, Kentucky, sisters, Beverly Hicks of Pikeville, Kentucky, Fontella Griffin of Pikeville, Kentucky, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
A memorial service for Thomas Eddie Kinney will be conducted at a later time.
