Tony Chris Minix age 62 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 09, 2025 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born April 07, 1962 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Ralph Minix and Fayetta Bailey.
He is survived by one daughter, Toni Faye (Jammie Perkins) Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, four step-children, William Richie (Lacy) Speer of Willisburg, Kentucky, Coy (Stephanie) Speer of Kentucky, Hannah Speer of Newburg, Indiana, Christopher Speer of Willisburg, Kentucky, one brother, Barry (Ann) Minix of Alabama, one sister-in-law, Teresa Holbrook of Salyersville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Ri’ Leigh Ann Minix, and Ryder Thomas Lee Minix.
In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by one step-child, Michael McGavack, one brother, Marc Douglas Minix, and his stepfather, Hank Hendricks.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 18, 2024 from the Commissioned by Christ Ministries at 89 Little Road, Royalton, Kentucky 41464 with Shane and Sabrina Back officiating. Burial followed in the Bailey Cemetery, at Tip Top, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested that contributions can be made to the memorial fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
