Tyler Alexander Barnett, age 30, a resident of Far Middle Fork Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Tyler was born November 13, 1994 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky the son of Kelly Ray Barnett and Lesia Mae Shepherd Risner. Preceding in death are paternal grandparents, Ham and Larie Barnett and maternal grandfather, Orville Shepherd.
Tyler was employed as a Millwright and was a member of Millwright Union 2076 of Grayson, Kentucky until his passing. He was a member of the Magoffin County Rescue Squad and active regularly serving his county and surrounding areas.
Those left to mourn includes wife, Sabrina Blair Barnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, son, Remington Tyler Barnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, daughters, Alionnah Barnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Genesis Barnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, parents, Kelly Ray Barnett and wife Missy of Salyersville, Kentucky, Lesia Risner and husband Kalton of Salyersville, Kentucky, maternal grandmother, Stella Wireman of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Briley Barnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, brothers, Kelly Barnett of Stanton, Kentucky, Shawn Barnett of Royalton, Kentucky, David Barnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Dalton Barnett of Royalton, Kentucky, Kaleb Barnett of Royalton, Kentucky, Chastin Barnett of Royalton, Kentucky, beloved dog, Ivy, a host of family, friends, and those who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Tyler Alexander Barnett were conducted Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Willis Blair delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Family Cemetery on Kindle Joseph Road in Royalton, Kentucky. Final Call for Magoffin County Rescue Member, Tyler Alexander Barnett, was conducted on the day of the funeral service. Contributions can be made to the Magoffin County Rescue Squad in Tyler Barnetts honor.
