Valerie Lee Montgomery age 62 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025 at her home. She was born April 20, 1963 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Normal Lee and Ada Grey Adkins Montgomery.
Survived by one brother, Jimmy (Diana) Montgomery of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Della Minix, Tammy (Charles) Wright of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Charolette Watson, three aunts, Ruth (Jim) Waugh of Cecilia, Kentucky, Ann (James) Leach of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Honna (Ronnie) Cole of Ezel, Kentucky, with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Valerie is preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Montgomery, and one sister-in-law, Shelia Montgomery.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Campbell and J.R. Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery at Cripple Creek, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
