Vina Mae Holbrook Hall age 75 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Paintsville ARH Hospital in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born January 17, 1947 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Johnny and Missouri Neeley Holbrook.
Survived by one son, Herbert Hoover Hall, Jr., of Hindman, Kentucky, two daughters, Missy Nicole Hall of Oakley, Kentucky, Reba Akers of Teaberry, Kentucky, one brother, Lloyd Holbrook of Dayton, Ohio, eleven grandchildren, Samantha Hall, Briley Hall, Haley Hall, Craig Hall, Justin Hall, Michelle Hall, Hayden Hall, Monica Hamilton, April Akers, Stephanie Hamilton, Davy Akers, and twenty-five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Vina Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hoover Hall, Sr., four sons, Alexander Hall, Darrell Hall, Harold Hall, Herbert Hall, one daughter, Beulah Hall, four brothers, Hobert Holbrook, Curtis Holbrook, Glenn Holbrook, Alex Holbrook, four sisters, Helen Green, Grace O’Brian, Ann Holbrook, June Holbrook, one grandchild, Nina Reber.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, January 31, 2022 from the Samaria Church at Teaberry, Kentucky with the Old Regular Baptist Preachers. Burial followed in the Holly Bush Cemetery at Teaberry, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
