Warnie Douglas Allen age 57 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was born 12/27/1963 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Grover Cleveland Allen and Della Mae Owens Allen, who survives.
Survived by his wife, Paula Gamble Allen, one son, Warnie Douglas (Brittany) Allen, Jr of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, one daughter, Desirae Allen Caudill of Richmond, Kentucky, two stepdaughters, Sabrina Minix, Vanessa Vanderpool, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother James Robert Hoover of Indiana, five grandchildren, Bri Allen, Jaycee Day, Cash Day, Liam Day, Emersyn Caudill, five step grandchildren, Aiden Minix, Austin Bailey, Natalia Bailey, Samantha Howard, and Sarah Vanderpool.
In addition to his father, Warnie is preceded in death by one brother, Grover Jason Allen, Jr.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Bolen officiating. Burial followed in the Grover Allen Cemetery at Trace Fork, Kentucky.
