Tonya Kay Daniels Gibson age 55 of Rockhouse Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, October 06, 2026 at her home. She was born March 23, 1971 in Paintsville, Kentucky to Barbara Rudd Daniels and the late Bert Elmer Daniels.
Survived by her husband, Michael Gibson, five sons, Benjamin Perkins (Ashley Burke) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Ryan (Rain) Perkins of Salyersville, Kentucky, Brent Perkins (Nick Kendrick) of Paintsville, Kentucky, Nathan Perkins (Brianna Thomson) of Salyersville, Michael Isaiah Gibson of Salyersville, Kentucky, three daughters, Ashley (Jackie) Arnett, Whitney (Shannon) Blanton both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Brittany (Misty) Perkins of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, three brothers, Teddy (Melissa) Daniels, Tim (Marlena) Daniels both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Brian (Royce) Daniels of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, three sisters, Tammy Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky, Teresa (Tom) Van Selow of Big Sandy, Tennessee, Lisa (Toddie) Preston of Salyersville, Kentucky, seventeen grandchildren, one great grandchild with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Tonya is preceded in by one son, Anthony Perkins, and one nephew, Jeremiah Fitzpatrick.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, October 10, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Noah Rudd Cemetery on Will May Branch, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
