Alexis Tackett, age 30, a resident of Flint Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 5, 2026 at her home.
Born on August 15, 1996, at ARH Prestonsburg in Prestonsburg, Kentucky the daughter of Tracy Tackett and Cynthia E. Porter. Brother, Ethan Porter, and Paternal Grandfather, Earl Tackett preceded in death.
Alexis is a graduate of Magoffin County High School in Salyersville, Kentucky and was employed by Wendy’s till her passing.
Those left to mourn includes father, Tracy Tackett and Wilma of Salyersville, Kentucky, mother, Cynthia E. Porter and Robert of Portsmouth, Ohio, sister, Sklyer Osbourne of Salyersville, Kentucky, brother, Colton Thomas Tackett of Spring, Texas, Paternal Grandmother, Mary Lou Tackett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Maternal Grandparents, Price and Audrey Porter of Salyersville, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Alexis Tackett were conducted Friday, October 9, 2026, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Phillip Howard and Rufus Tackett delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Tackett Family Cemetery on Buffalo in Salyersville, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers and gifts, contributions can be made to the funeral home for the memorial fund.
