Allene Arnett age 85 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from the Highlands ARH Regional Hospital in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was born at Foraker, Kentucky on August 8, 1936, to the late Justice and Elsie Arnett.
Allene is survived by two daughters, Pamela Lynn Wages and Tammie Leigh Puckett, Both of Salyersville, and one brother, Harry Dean Arnett also of Salyersville, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great -great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Allene is preceded in death by two sons, Stephen Langley Wages and Nelson Arnett Wages and one little brother, James Lowell Arnett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the Church Pavilion adjoining the Burton Fork Cemetery on Left-Hand of Johnson Fork, with Doyle Keeton officiating. Burial will follow at the Burton Fork Cemetery. Friends may visit the Pavilion from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Magoffin County Senior Citizens Center.
Family has requested that friends and family to wear mask and social distancing.
