Betty Gay Reed Allen age 79 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away, Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born November 18, 1941 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Aronton and Bonnie Patrick Reed.
Survivors include four sons, Gary and Kaye Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky, Jimmy and Yvonne Allen of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Tommy and Wanda Allen of Lexington, Kentucky, Charles and Vearlene Allen of Lexington, Kentucky, one daughter, Bonnie and Bennie Strunk of Lexington, Kentucky three brothers, Johnny Reed, Mitchell Reed, Gordon Reed all of Salyersville, Kentucky, four sisters, Francis Allen, Dottie Ward, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Georgia Statze of Hamilton, Ohio, Beverly Hill of Lexington, Kentucky, fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Rondle Allen, three brothers, Henry Reed, Donald Reed, and Pat Reed.
Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Light House Apostolic Church.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, March 14, 2021 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Allen officiating. Burial followed in the Allen Cemetery at Grape Creek, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
