On Saturday, Magoffin County, Estill County, Pike County Central, Letcher County Central, Perry County Central, Powell County, Knott County Central, Lawrence County competed at the KHSAA 2A Regional Championships. The Magoffin County boys team, Matthew Hall, Eli Howard, Braxton Lemaster, Luke Wireman, Bryce Howard, and Mayson Bailey, captured the title of regional runners up! The girls team, Kaddance Gasparac, Miley Back, McKenzie Back, Lyndsey Wireman, and Larah Salyer, also captured the title of regional runners-up! These athletes will compete at the KHSAA 2A State Championships on Friday in Bourbon County at 4:00 and 5:00. Best wishes to these amazing athletes!
