LEXINGTON — Senior thrower Abigail Bradley led Magoffin County during the KHSAA Class 2A Track & Field State Championship at the University of Kentucky on Friday, May 30, placing seventh in girls’ shot put.
Bradley medaled and reached the podium for her seventh-place finish. One of the state’s top girls’ high school track and field throwers, Bradley finished 15th in girls’ discus.
Magoffin County junior Cheyenne Perkins competed in the girls’ 100 meter hurdles during the KHSAA Class 2A Track & Field State Championship, finishing 24th.
Magoffin County Coach Tonya Arnett Ward guided Bradley and Perkins throughout the 2025 high school track and field season.

Girls’ 100 Meter Hurdles: 24th – Cheyenne Perkins, 21.58.
Girls’ Discus: 15th – Abigail Bradley, 86-0.
Girls’ Shot Put: 7th – Abigail Bradley, 31-5.
