Brenda Sue Wallen Solomon age 69 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born February 01, 1954 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Kernie and Sylvia Hale Wallen.
Survivors include one son, Jason (Jessica) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, four daughters, Monica (Gregory Kilgore) Fletcher of Wise, Virginia, April (Alan) Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, Regina (Tim) Wheeler of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Santana (Ron) Thompson, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, two brothers, Wilbur (Ethel Fay) Wallen, Kernie (Lisa) Wallen, Jr., both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Linda Lou (Pernell) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, Joshua Harper, Alexis Montgomery, Chelsey Pennington, Kelsey Pennington, Crew Wheeler, Braxton Howard, Issabella Howard, Isiah Howard, Luke Thompson, three great grandchildren, Eli Harper, Grayson Harper, and Raelyn Montgomery.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny Wallen, John Shelby Wallen , Daniel Boone Wallen, James Earl Wallen, and one sister, Edna May Wallen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January, 04, 2024 from the New Life Worship Center with William Paul Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Flynt Cemetery at Salyersville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the church any time prior to funeral services on Thursday.
