Denzil Lee Smith age 66 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born May 01, 1957 at Ogden in Knott County Kentucky to the late Emma Jean Smith.
Survived by his wife, Stephanie Smith, two daughters, Tiffany Joy and her husband Ryan Daniel Newsome of Salyersville, Kentucky, Bianna Hope and her husband Daniel Music of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Amelia Faith Newsome, Saul Harrison Newsome, Elyssa Noel Music, and Miah Grace Music.
In addition to his mother, Denzil is preceded in death by one brother, A.C. Smith.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from the Faith Freewill Baptist Church with Ryan Daniel Newsome and Rodney Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Gethsemane Gardens in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
Church services were held Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
