Diana Sue Hicks Herrington, age 83 of Wayland, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at her home. She was born May 11, 1938, in Wayland, Kentucky to the late Leander and Maggie Hicks.
She is survived by two sons, Loren (Janet) Herrington of McDowell, KY, Ellery Quinn (Sherrie) Herrington of McDowell, Ky, six daughters, Emily Herrington, Carlisle, Ky, Mary Conley (Melvin) of East Point, Ky, Wanda Herrington of Lacky, Ky, Delores McCord of Mousie, Ky, Patty (Tim) Howell of McDowell, Ky, Ouida (Darrell) Layne of Carlisle, Ky.
She is preceded in death by, her husband, Lloyd Herrington, daughter Lolita Herrington and grandson, Scott Damron.
Grave side services were held October, 16, 2021, burial followed in the Alley Cemetery at Neds Fork, McDowell, Ky. Services were conducted by the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
