Ethel Mae Hunley Gibbs age 77 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 04, 2024 at the Salyersville Nursing and Rehab Center, in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born July 11, 1946 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Richard and Versie Howard Hunley.
Survived by two brothers, Mitchell Hunley, Billy Hunley both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one nephew, David McCarty, one great niece, Chloe McCarty, one uncle, Carl Howard, one aunt, Maggie McDowell, and one sister-in-law, Betty Lou Hunley.
In addition to her parents, Ethel Mae is preceded in death by her husband, James Gibbs, two brothers, Bobby J. Hunley, Ricky Hunley, three sisters, Margaret Hunley, Edna Fay Hunley, and Joyce Ann McCarty.
Ethel Mae was a faithful member of the Litteral Fork United Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 08, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Carroll, C.J. Tackett, and Carl Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Tackett Cemetery at Twin Lick, Salyersville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, March 07, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
