BLOOMINGTON – A Salyersville woman was killed in a one-vehicle car wreck in the Bloomington area of Magoffin County on October 16.
Rescue crews were dispatched to a one-vehicle wreck with entrapment of two people on US 460 West in the Bloomington area at around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Initial investigations indicate that the driver of the vehicle, Felicia Elsea, had lost control, falling off the road, hitting a culvert, with the vehicle flipping onto its top.
Elsea was airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center for her injuries, but her mother, Levinna Howard Mann, 80 years old, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the wreck.
At press time, no other information is available regarding the wreck, though it remains under investigation by the Magoffin County Sheriff Department.
