SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County is set to host Estill County for its final home game in the 2024 high school football season on Friday, Oct. 25.
The Hornets and Engineers will meet in a Class 3A, District 8 matchup.
Magoffin County notched a Class 3A, District 8 win over Estill County during the 2023 high school football season. The Hornets doubled up the Engineers 38-19 in a Class 3A, District 8 matchup on Oct. 20, 2023.
Magoffin County is 1-7 overall and 0-3 in Class 3A, District 8. The Hornets are poised to host the Engineers for a second straight home game.
Estill County is 4-4 overall and 1-2 in Class 3A, District 8. The Engineers are slated to play on the road for the second straight week.
Magoffin County has regular season games remaining versus Estill County and Morgan County.

The Hornets were open the week of Friday, Oct. 18.
