SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County is scheduled to host West Carter for its Homecoming in the 2025 high school football season.
The Magoffin County-West Carter game is slated for Friday, Sept. 12.
Magoffin County and West Carter did not meet during the 2024 high school football season.
The Hornets have additional home games scheduled versus Perry County Central (Sept. 5), Powell County (Oct. 3) and Letcher County Central (Oct. 10).
Magoffin County has away games scheduled versus Rowan County (Aug. 22), Floyd Central (Aug. 29), Winfield, W.Va. (Sept. 19), Estill County (Sept. 26), Pike County Central (Oct. 17) and Lawrence County (Oct. 24).
The Hornets have the final week in the 2025 high school football season (Oct. 31) open.
Fans will have an opportunity to watch Magoffin County at home in a pair of preseason games. The Hornets are scheduled to host both Fleming County (Aug. 8) and Montgomery County (Aug. 15) for scrimmages.
