SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County sophomore Caleb Lovely emerged as one of the state’s top defensive linemen in the 2025 high school football season.
Lovely, who led Magoffin County defensively in the 2025 high school football season, excelled throughout his sophomore campaign.
Lovely was a force up front along Magoffin County’s defensive line in the 2025 high school football season. As a sophomore, Lovely recorded 60 tackles, 15.5 tackles for losses, 6.5 sacks 3 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery in 10 games for the Hornets. Lovely led Magoffin County in tackles, tackles for losses and sacks.
A standout for Magoffin County, Lovely has carried momentum into the high school football offseason. Lovely will be among the top returning players in Class 3A in 2026.
Currently, Lovely is competing for Magoffin County in the 2025-26 boys’ high school basketball season. Lovely provides a strong presence inside for the Magoffin County boys’ basketball team.
