PIKEVILLE — Magoffin County archers excelled in the inaugural Santa’s Shootout at Appalachian Wireless Arena on Saturday, Dec. 14.
Knights Archery, a youth homeschool team, hosted Santa’s Shootout.

Middle School Division
Team: 1st – Herald Whitaker Middle School.
Boys: 1st – Luke Estep, 2nd – Brenton Dyer.
High School Division
Team: 3rd – Magoffin County High School
Boys: 1st – John Martin Connelley, 2nd – Luke Montgomery, 5th – Brayden Lewis.
Girls: 3rd – Chloe Skaggs.
Overall: 2nd – John Martin Connelley, 3rd – Luke Montgomery.
