EASTERN — Magoffin County participated in the Glory Road game at Allen Central’s J.E. Campbell Arena on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Floyd Central defeated Magoffin County 58-37 in the Glory Road game, which the Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame presented.
Floyd Central gradually separated itself from Magoffin County during the matchup.
Chloe Crase led Floyd Central to the win. Crase scored a game-high 15 points for the Lady Jaguars.
Joining Crase in double figures for Floyd Central, Maddy Engle netted 13 points.
Nine different players scored for Floyd Central in its win. Additional scorers Reagan Laferty (eight points), Aubrey Moore (eight points), Hannah Laferty (six points), Allie Adkins (two points), Katelyn Younce (two points), Brooklyn Sammons (two points) and Mahayla Garcia (two points) finished in single digits for the Lady Jaguars.
Magoffin County shot 31.0 percent (13-of-42) from the field. The Lady Hornets shot 30.8 percent (four-of-13) from three-point range.

Abby Barnett and Macy Williams paced Magoffin County, scoring 11 points apiece for the Lady Hornets. Barnett recorded a double-double, claiming 11 rebounds.
