SALYERSVILLE — The Magoffin County FFA Horse Show is set to be held at the Magoffin County Horse Park on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Gates will open at 5 p.m.
The gate fee will be $5.
Children ages 10 and under will be admitted free.
The Magoffin County FFA will receive all proceeds from the horse show.
The classes are 1 – Lead Line, 2 – Beginner Rider 12 and Under, 3 – Open Mountain Horse RMHA-KMHA (Payout), 4 – Mountain Horse Trail Pleasure RMHA -KMHA (Payout), 5 – Ladies Pleasure (Payout), 6 – Go As You Please (Payout), 7 – Juvenile Trail Pleasure (Payout), 8 – Keg Shod Racking (Payout), 9 – Juvenile Go As You Please – 17 and Under (Payout), 10 – Open Racking (Payout), 11 – Spotted Horse Racking (Payout), 12 – Trail Pleasure (Payout), 13 – Open Pacing (Payout), 14 – Speed Racking (Payout), 15 – Double Class (Payout), 16. – Shovel Race, 17 – Juvenile Show Pleasure 17 And Under (Payout), 18 – Open 4 Year Old Trail Pleasure (Payout), 19 – 50-Plus Pleasure (Payout), 20 – Country Pleasure (Payout), 21 – Flat Shod Racking (Payout), 22 – Men’s Pleasure (Payout), 23 – Open Juvenile Championship, 24 – Open Country Pleasure Championship, 25 – Open Trail Pleasure Championship, 26 – Open Mountain Pleasure Championship, 27 – Open Speed Racking Championship.
The entry fees are as follows: Class 1 – Free, Class 2-22 – $10, Championship Class 23-26 – $30.
The payouts for classes 2-22 are as follows: 1st – $30, 2nd – $20, 3rd – $10.
The payouts for each championship class are as follows: 1st – $300, 2nd – $150, 3rd – $50.
