SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County is looking to fill its schedule for the 2023 junior varsity football season.
Multiple dates remain open on Magoffin County’s 2023 junior varsity schedule.
Currently, Magoffin County is scheduled to host Cabell Midland (W.Va.) for its opener in the 2023 junior varsity season on Saturday, Aug. 26. Magoffin County head coach John DeRossett is a former Cabell Midland assistant coach.
The Hornets are slated to visit Raceland (Saturday, Sept. 16) and Powell County (Saturday, Sept. 30) for separate away games in the 2023 junior varsity season.
Magoffin County has another JV home game scheduled versus Raceland (Saturday, Oct. 21).
Magoffin County is still looking to fill multiple dates on the 2023 JV schedule.
The Hornets are less than two weeks away from making a varsity debut in the 2023 high school football season.
Magoffin County continues to make progress on the gridiron.
In 2022, Magoffin County advanced to the KHSAA Class 3A Playoffs.
In addition to filling dates on its JV schedule, Magoffin County is still accepting players for the 2023 high school football season.
