JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers who use US 460 just west of downtown Salyersville in Magoffin County should prepare for delays, which began on Monday this week.
Construction associated with the Ivy Point Hill roadway relocation will result in one-lane traffic.
The project location is at milepoint 10.4, between the KY 30 and KY 40 intersections near the top of Ivy Point Hill.
A temporary traffic signal will be in place for approximately three weeks while the work is ongoing. Drivers should expect delays and allow themselves more time to reach their destinations.
Overwidth vehicles can detour via KY 30, the Mountain Parkway, and KY 7.
Approximately 3,700 vehicles use the affected section of US 460 each day.
