PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — University of Pikeville sophomore swimmer Daylin Patrick set two new personal bests at Shawnee State University on Friday, Jan. 23.
Patrick, a Magoffin County High School graduate, competed in the 50 backstroke and the 100 backstroke, setting two new personal bests. The productive Patrick swam 41.81 in the 50 backstroke, then swam 1:27.52 in the 100 backstroke.
Patrick and her University of Pikeville teammates are preparing to compete in the 2026 Appalachian Athletic Conference Swimming Championships. The 2026 Appalachian Athletic Conference Swimming Championships are scheduled to be held in Kingsport, Tenn., Thursday, Feb. 12-Saturday, Feb. 14.
