Paul Edward Risner, age 95 of Lexington, Kentucky passed away Thursday, September 09, 2021, at his home. He is the husband of the late Oma Shepherd Risner. He was born August 26, 1926 in Royalton, Kentucky to the late Beecher and Versie Marshall Risner.
Survived by three daughters, Carolyn Legg of Sidney, Ohio, Sheliah R. McClanahan of Grundy, Virginia, Lisa Risner of Lexington, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Rhonda Fisher, Kirby Risner, Jr., three great grandchildren, Brittany Jones, Kyle Risner, Kara Risner, three great-great grandchildren, Jadea Combs, Iris Jones, and Taylor Jones.
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wife Oma Shepherd Risner, one son, Kirby Risner, one brother, Beecher Risner, Jr., two sisters, Loretta Gillespie, and Malvadine Risner.
A graveside service was conducted Saturday, September 11, 2021 from the Risner Cemetery at Royalton, Kentucky with Ben Martin officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
