Relay team ranked first in region

Congratulations to our track and field team for their outstanding performance against Pikeville, Morgan, Menifee, East Ridge, Johnson Central, Riverside Christian, Paintsville, Betsy Layne, Wolfe, Lee, Breathitt, Powell, Piarist, and Lawrence last Thursday.

Congratulations to the girls 4 by 100 relay team, Natalie Gasparac, Stephanie Helton, Kaddance Gasparac, and Alison Cantrell, for achieving their PR of 59.19 and for once again being ranked number 1 in the region.

The boys 4 by 100 relay team, Ethan Meade, Tarren Hunley, Alex Hibbens and Brayden Combs, achieved an outstanding time of 50.92 capturing the new school record.

Haley Barnett easily captured first place in the shot put with a throw of 31-9 and was runner up in the discus throw with 73-10.

Both Alex Hibbens and Alison Cantrell captured first place in the pole vault.

Great finish in 4th to the boys 4 by 200 relay team- Bryce Salyer, Matthew Hall. James Gasparac, and Brayden Allen.

Juliana Jordan captured 14th in the 400m with Peyton Howard in 16th.

Dason Burchett had an impressive 8th place finish in the 300m hurdles.

Great job to all these outstanding athletes!
