Ricky Rife age 61 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at the UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born May 02, 1960 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the Orville and Martha Nelson Rife.
Survived by two sons, Ricky Rife and Micky Rife, both of Owensboro, Kentucky, one daughter, Heather Bailey of Lexington, Kentucky, three sisters, Janice Bailey of Oil Springs, Kentucky, Peggy Sue (Morris) Rife of Gunlock, Kentucky, Melissa Rife of Oil Springs, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Tayvone Wiliams, Tayshawn Williams, Aniya Nelson, Camron Blanton, Kashia Nance, Kyler Howard, Ashley Rife, special nieces and nephews, LaSah (Tyler) Bailey, Daniel Wireman, Justin Wireman, Jason Whitt, Marlana Rife, sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Scott Perry of North Middletown, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his lifelong companion, Ruth Nance, one sister, Norma Jene Rife, one nephew, Josh Bailey, and brother-in-law, James “Pango” Bailey.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 25, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Rose officiating. Burial followed in the Wile Wireman Cemetery at Gunlock, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
