Roland Matthew Bailey, Sr. age 60 of Bedford Springs, Kentucky formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Bedford Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford Springs, Kentucky. He was born May 15, 1961 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Oscar and Darelna Conley Bailey.
Survived by his wife, Michele Holzkamper Bailey, one son, Jeffrey (Cortney Jenkins) Bailey of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Douglas Bailey and Cline Joseph both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three sisters, Vivian Rudd, Teresa Bailey, and Judy Bailey all of Salyersville, Kentucky, and two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Roland is preceded in death by one son, Roland Matthew Bailey Jr., two brothers, William Thomas Joseph, and Oscar Daniel Bailey, two sisters, Betsy Bailey, and Erin Bailey.
Roland was a Deacon of the First Philadelphia United Baptist Church in Frozen, Kentucky.
A graveside service was conducted Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Bailey Cemetery in Salt Lick, Kentucky with Doug Slusher officiating. In Lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Roland Bailey Memorial fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
