TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has announced its 2025 Division I softball awards, and a Magoffin County native is among the honorees.
Magoffin County native Presley Smith, a sophomore catcher for the Indian River State College softball team, has been named to the All-FCSAA Division I First Team.
The 17-member All-FCSAA first and second teams, as well as the FCSAA Division I Player and Pitcher of the Year, were voted on by members of the FCSAA Division I Softball Committee.
Members of the All-FCSAA teams who are participating in the FCSAA DI Softball Championship were slated to be recognized prior to their team’s first game in the tournament.
Previously, Smith was named First Team All-Citrus. At the time of her latest honor, Smith had appeared in 51 games and was batting .404 with eight home runs and 53 runs batted in. She had scored 51 runs and stolen 37 bases.
Prior to finishing her prep career in Florida, Smith starred for Magoffin County High School.
Currently, Smith is among the top junior college softball players in the nation.
