SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County High School senior defensive end Brayden Standifer has picked up a pair of college football offers from in-state programs.
Standifer has received offers from Kentucky Christian University and Union Commonwealth University. The MCHS senior made an official visit to Kentucky Christian University in December.
Standifer was a leader for the Hornets throughout his senior campaign, recording a team-high 83 tackles, nine tackles for losses, two sacks and one interception during the 2024 high school football season. As a senior, Standifer led Magoffin County in tackles, tackles for losses and sacks.
Offensively, Standifer contributed as both a rusher and a receiver. On the ground, Standifer rushed six times for 54 yards and one touchdown. Through the air, Standifer hauled in eight receptions for 50 yards.
Standifer continues to receive recruiting interest. His recruitment remains open.
