Susan McKenzie Ludwig, age 60, passed away on November 27, 2023, at UK Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born on August 19, 1963, in Salyersville, KY, to Edmond and the late Clare May McKenzie.
Besides her father, Susan is survived by her husband, Gerald Ludwig; two brothers, Charles McKenzie, Joe (Tammy) McKenzie; nephews, David Anthony McKenzie, Dakota Wayne McKenzie; a niece, Rebecca Ann McKenzie; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held in Susan’s honor on Monday, December 4, 2023, in Cooper Cemetery located in Magoffin County. A visitation was held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Ware Funeral Home in Cynthiana, KY. Brother Terry McDuffey presided over services for Susan. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Susan to Flora Shropshire Animal Shelter, 1751 New Lair Rd, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
