SALYERSVILLE – The annual Veteran’s Day dinner held by the Salyersville Masonic Lodge and Rainbow Girls has been canceled due to COVID-19, but the two groups still want to feed our local veterans and their families.
Instead of the traditional dinner, they will be having a take-out style chili dinner, complete with chili, peanut butter and syrup sandwiches, dessert and a drink, on Saturday, November 14 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge (located behind the Magoffin County Courthouse).
All veterans and their families are encouraged to stop by the lodge during that time and someone will bring out their meals.
All precautions will be taken to keep this event as safe as possible, following all guidelines to keep down the risk of spreading COVID-19.
