GUNLOCK – A teenager was flown to the hospital after an ATV accident on Wednesday.
According to Magoffin County Rescue Squad Captain Carter Conley, a 15-year-old male wrecked on an ATV on the hill near the head of Rt. 542 close to the Magoffin-Breathitt county line and someone with the juvenile brought him to a residence nearby.
The teenager reportedly suffered facial trauma and possible fractures to his wrist and/or arm.
A landing zone was established in the area and Air Evac 118 transported him to Cabell Huntington Hospital’s pediatrics unit.
At press time, his status is unknown.
