Congratulations to our girls track team for their third place finish on Tuesday competing against Menifee, Morgan, Bath, Piarist, Paintsville, Lee, Wolfe, Breathitt, Elliott, Owsley, and Rose Hill at Morgan County High School last week.
Top finishers were-
Ali Cantrell captured 1st in pole vault, and third in both long & triple jump.
Miley Back was the runner up in the 300m hurdles.
Cheyenne Perkins captured 1st in the 200m hurdles and 2nd in the 100m.
Abby Bradley was runner up in the shot put and captured 3rd in discus throw.
The 4X400m relay team, Miley Back, Cayman Hall, Haylee Risner, and Josephine Perkins, placed 2nd.
The 4X200m relay team, Cayman Hall, Miley Back, Haylee Risner, and Olivia Wittes, placed 3rd.
The 4X100m relay team, Alison Cantrell, Cayman Hall, Miley Back and Cheyenne Perkins, placed 3rd.
The boys team placed 4th overall and the top finishers were-
Alex Hibbens placed 1st in all his events, pole vault, triple jump, & long jump.
Matthew Hall placed 3rd place in the 3200m (2 mile) run.
The 4X400 relay team, Bryce Salyer, Shawn Howard, Gage Gasparac, and Matthew Hall placed 2nd.
Dason Burchett was the runner up in long jump.
