SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County High School senior tight end Trey Rudd has committed to the University of Pikeville.
Rudd announced his commitment to the University of Pikeville (UPike) on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
Among the leaders for Magoffin County throughout the 2024 high school football season, Rudd displayed versatility as he produced from multiple positions. Rudd was a tight end/defensive end for the Hornets.
Up front on offense, Rudd provided valuable blocking for the Hornets while contributing as both a receiver and a rusher.
Defensively, Rudd recorded 27 tackles for the Hornets.
UPike captured the 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference Football Championship and advanced to the playoffs. The Bears reached the second round of the 2024 NAIA Football Playoffs.
