Vickie Irene Allen age 57 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born May 21, 1966 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late Claude Dempsy Allen and the late Vonda Gay Sizemore.
Survived by her step-mother, Margareta Allen, companion, Joseph Julian, two daughters, Heather (John) Kazee and Kayla Bailey both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three grandchildren, Nicholas Bailey, Mila Arnett, and Maddox Kazee, three brothers, Wade Allen of Indiana, Jackie “Sunny” Allen of Kentucky, Toby Allen of Lima, Ohio, six sisters, Teresa Allen of Louisville, Kentucky, Sheila Allen of Winchester, Kentucky, Lisa Hensley of Paintsville, Kentucky, Marquettia Allen of Paintsville, Kentucky, Crystal Allen of Morehead, Kentucky, Kisha Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky, with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Vickie is preceded in death by one brother, Steve Allen and one sister, Neva Rudd.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, September 11, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Hiner officiating. Burial followed in the Cain Cemetery, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
