Viola Hunley age 83 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Paintsville ARH Hospital in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born May 13, 1939 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Ray and Ivory Howard Gamble.
Survived by three sons, David Hunley of Paintsville, Kentucky, Dennis (Kathy) Hunley, Joe Darrell (Pam) Hunley both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three daughters, Audrey (Robert) Campbell of Martin, Kentucky, Jerlean (Terry) Crace, Joy Jeannette (Mark) Joseph both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three brothers, Roy Lee Gamble, Morris (Janet) Gamble, Johnny (Benita) Gamble all of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven sisters, Pauline Bolen, Lovella Howard, Rita Fay Gamble, Rosetta Allen, Benita Gay (Sam) Caudill, Mary Gamble, Nettie Gamble all of Salyersville, Kentucky, eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Viola is preceded in death by her husband, Grant Hunley, one brother, Joseph Gamble, three sisters, Shirley Hall, Emogene Gamble, and Elizabeth Gamble.
Graveside service was conducted Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from the Hale Cemetery, Borders Road in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
