Virginia Ruth Tackett Hale, age 83 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 06, 2021, from the Paul B Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born August 27, 1938, in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Linzie and Wonnie Tackett.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky (Jody) Hale of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Ronnie (Connie) Hale of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Sheila (Danny) Montgomery of Winchester, Kentucky, one brother, Tim Tackett of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Sue Gullett of Dayton, Ohio, five grandchildren, Daniel Montgomery, Travis Montgomery, Jarrod Hale, Sabrina Crace, and Jesse Hale, six grandchildren, Landon Tate Hale, Marlee Crace, Mattie Crace, Weston Montgomery, Mia Montgomery, and Miles Montgomery.
In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hale, four brothers, Linzie Tackett, Jr., Clayton Tackett, Harold Tackett, Ray Tackett, and one sister, Stella Tackett.
Funeral services for Virginia Hale were conducted Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with C.J. Tackett officiating. Burial followed in the Hale Family Cemetery on Borders Road.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
