William Ray Collinsworth age 82 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Prestonsburg Health Care Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was born January 02, 1941 at Rockhouse in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Lawrence and Mallie Gillum Collinsworth.
Survivors include one son, Joe Kenneth (Ramona) Collinsworth of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Jonie Renee (Tim) Wireman of Salyersville, Kentucky, two step-sons, Stacy Puckett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Dwayne Puckett of Tennessee, two brothers, Lonnie Collinsworth, Danny Collinsworth both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three sisters, Gladys Faye Carty, Jean Ellenburg, Murl Marie Howard all of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Chase Collinsworth, Devon Watkins, Martika Fyffe, Logan Collinsworth, Breanna Watkins, Lucas Puckett, Michael Wayne Barthelemy, Heather Louise Barthelemy, nine great grandchildren, Lucas Fyffe, Dalton Fyffe, Bearett Kruz Collinsworth, Penelope Nicks Collinsworth, Wilder Hayes Collinsworth, Raylee Ariza, Callahan Weston Collinsworth, Delilah Barthelemy, and Ellah Louise Huntley.
In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his first wife, Josephine Lemaster Collinsworth, his second wife, Wilma Louise Taulbee Collinsworth, one step-daughter, Patricia Ann Barthelemy, one grandchild, Michael Barthelemy, one great grandchild, Trisha Barthelemy, six brothers, Billy Darrell Collinsworth, Philip Collinsworth, Wondle Collinsworth, Wayne Collinsworth, Donald Collinsworth, and Robert Collinsworth.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, December 23, 2023 from the New Life Worship Center with Williams Paul Perkins officiating. Burial followed in the Williams Cemetery at Mash Fork, Kentucky.
Military rites given by the Salyersville D.A.V. Chapter 15 the day of the funeral service.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
