LLOYD — Magoffin County archer Chloe Skaggs has qualified for the KHSAA Archery State Tournament.
Skaggs shot a 281 and placed third in the KHSAA Region 11 Girls’ Archery Tournament at Greenup County High School on Saturday, March 28.
Magoffin County placed fifth in the KHSAA Region 11 Girls’ Archery Tournament’s team standings. The Lady Hornets’ team score was 1,760.
An accomplished archer, Skaggs is a longtime leader for the Lady Hornets.
Magoffin County’s individual results from the KHSAA Region 11 Girls’ Archery Tournament were as follows: 3rd – Chloe Skaggs, 281; 21st – Kinley Montgomery, 267; 36th – Lilian Ramey, 253; 41st – Callorae Keeton, 248; 45th – Madison Rose, 243; 54th – Isabella Watkins, 236; 55th – Hayden Arnett, 232; 61st – Marlee Risner, 214; 64th – Isabel Bridgeman, 196; 65th – Addisyn Jordan, 183; 66th – Breanna Hopkins, 172; 68th – Rileigh Minix, 129.
