SALYERSVILLE – The following indictment was released from a Magoffin County grand jury, dated December 22, 2025, as the defendant was picked up on an arrest warrant in the case last Sunday.
Robert Spradlin, 44, of Auxier, is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, greater than or equal to two grams of methamphetamine (Class C felony); tampering with physical evidence (Class D felony); possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor); resisting arrest (Class A misdemeanor); and menacing (Class B misdemeanor). According to the indictment, on or about October 13, 2025, Spradlin allegedly manufactured, distributed, dispensed, sold, transferred or possessed with the intent to manufacture, distribute or sell a quantity of methamphetamine. He allegedly attempted to destroy, mutilate, conceal, or otherwise altered physical evidence. He is also accused of possessing drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and intentionally placing Magoffin County Sheriff Deputy Neil Watson in reasonable apprehension of imminent physical injury.
Grand jury indictments with issued arrest warrants are released only after the defendant has been served with that arrest.
