The Magoffin County High School Cross Country Team competed on Thursday in Paintsville against Paintsville, Betsy Layne, and Millard. Matthew Hall captured first place with a time of 25:46. The boys team, Matthew Hall, Luke Wireman, Eli Howard, Bryce Salyer, and Collin Martin, captured first place also. It was a great job by Karah Lafferty who finished first for the girls’ team including Miley Back, Abbie Skaggs, and Abby Bradley, and third overall at 30:02
The boys’ elementary team placed first. Jason Yates was the top elementary finisher in the 2K with a time of 13:53, followed by Jackson Owens, Braxton Risner, Aiden Bingham, Jackson Salyer and Hunter Lovely.
It was a great day of running!
