EASTERN — The Herald Whitaker Middle School archery team placed second in the Bulldog/Blackcat Winter Bash at J.E. Campbell Arena on Saturday, Dec. 9.
The tournament, held in Floyd County, featured archers from several area schools.
The Herald Whitaker Middle School archery team recorded a score of over 3,000 to qualify for the state tournament.

Middle School Boys: 1st – John Martin Connelley, 2nd – Luke Montgomery, 5th – Brayden Lewis.
Middle School Girls: 4th – Kinley Montgomery.
