Carl B. Howard age 90 of Mine Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 at his home. He was born December 28, 1934 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Lonzie and Pearlie Tackett Howard.
Survived by two daughters, Vivian (Rod) Morgan, Von Wheeler both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Magdalene McDowell of Lexington, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Whittney Allen, Brad Wheeler, Carla Wheeler, Brack Morgan, Casey Morgan, four great grandchildren, Brody Wheeler, Bryson Jenkins, Brady Jenkins, and Karly Jenkins.
In addition to his parents, Carl B. is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Tackett Howard, five brothers, Kenneth Howard, Monroe Howard, Hershel Howard, Rex Howard, Dennie Howard, six sisters, Rosie Williams, Verla Adams, Tressie Mae Howard, Vetta Fay Caudill, Addie Hale, and Versie Hunley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 27, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Carrol, John Blanton, and Marcus Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in the Lonzie Howard Cemetery at Twin Lick, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
