SALYERSVILLE — A game Magoffin County-Cordia baseball game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 8.
The Hornets and Lions were originally scheduled to meet for a game on Thursday, April 4.
Magoffin County is slated to travel to Cordia for the late-season game.
The Hornets are due to host the Lions for a home game on Friday, April 19.
Magoffin County exited March 0-6. However, Magoffin County is expected to continue to show improvement.
The Hornets have regular season games remaining versus Cordia, Morgan County, East Ridge, Mingo Central (W.Va.), Betsy Layne, Martin County, Paintsville, Belfry, Menifee County, Floyd Central, Phelps, Bath County and Leslie County.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, Magoffin County will compete in the 57th District Baseball Tournament.
