Temporary Diversion on KY 378
KY 378 (Right Fork of Licking River Road) at milepoint 2.33 in Magoffin County has reopened after Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews built a temporary diversion around a closed bridge.

The bridge was closed by KYTC officials earlier this week after an inspection revealed significant damage to the bridge beams and deck.

A one-lane temporary crossing now spans Holbrook Branch, located approximately 0.5 miles west of Back Branch Road and 2.3 miles east of the Breathitt County line.

Signs are posted to notify drivers of the one-lane diversion. No timetable has yet been established to reopen the bridge.

Approximately 110 vehicles use this section of KY 378 each day.
