Mary L. Cook age 78 passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 at her home. She was born February 26, 1946 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Alec Howard and the late Plina Smith.
Survived by two sons, Rick (Linda) Caudill of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Mike (Sherry) Cook of Marion, Ohio, two brothers, Harry (Linda) Caudill of Indiana, Henry (Susie) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Erma Tackett of Indiana, three grandchildren, Heather (Matthew) Watkins, Sabrina (Shane) Back, Sydney (Doryan) Miller, four great grandchildren, Channing, Alexis, Landon, Piper, with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by two daughters, Gretta Caudill, Shirley Caudill, two brothers, Frankie Howard, Ricky Lee Howard, and one sister, Chickie Lee Howard.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 26, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Robert May officiating. Burial will follow in the Tackett Cemetery at Mine Fork, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home any time prior to funeral services.
